You are looking at the back of a signal
When you are looking at the back of a signal, you need to know the next signal on your route to set the TPS level associated with that signal. The app will use the information from that signal to look for the next signal on your route.
Note: This help page assumes you have allowed the app to use Your location. If you have refused this permission, the app will not show some of the information below.
The app will show you:
1 | A map with your current location |
2 | Your location as GPS coordinates |
3 | Your location projected onto the nearest track with its KP location |
4 | An input field to search for a signal |
5 | A list of signals ordered by those that are closest to your location. |
You can either search in the list provided for the signal in front of you, or use the input field to search for the signal by name.
Once you have selected the signal in front of you, the app will remove the input field and list of closest signals and only display the next signal on your route:
The app will also show the relevant signal on the map (indicated by the arrow in the image above).
Note: If no signal can be found on your route before arriving at a switch allowing movement to multiple tracks, multiple signals will be returned. It is up to you to know which direction you will be taking.
