AMDx: Privacy statement

Infrabel is the owner of the application AMDM. AMDM is meant to help railway people find assets, check plans based on a location, report problems with our infrastructure and some other useful mobile features.

During the usage of the AMDM, two types of data are collected when certain functions are used:

• Location data: When a user requests a technical design, a query is made to the database to get the corresponding URL. This query is saved in the database for debugging reason.
• Pictures: pictures sent to Infrabel to report a problem with our railway infrastructure will be saved on Infrabel servers and will be used to diagnose the problem. These pictures will only be used to identify and remedy the reported problem and are kept in the log of the problematic asset as historic information.

Notifications can be send to the device which the app will process in the background. Those notifications contain localized warnings (a warning about an ongoing fire for example). In order to only give the user relevant information (when he is close to the fire), the app will process the device location in the background. The location gathered in the background is only used for localizing the notifications and no data is sent back to the server in that use case.

Under no conditions will this data be sent to third parties or used in any other way than is described above. Users have the right to request to see the data, rectify data and erase the data. In order to block any data gathering, the user will have to uninstall the application as the application cannot function without this data gathering.

Any change in this privacy statement will be associated with an update of the application that requires user approval.
